**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** This role involves maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and food packaging machinery for a company that specializes in constructing custom packaging for various clients in the area. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of conveyors, pumps, motors, boilers, cappers, and labelers, as well as performing preventive maintenance weekly. **Responsibilities** + Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on HVAC systems and building maintenance. + Repair and troubleshoot food packaging machinery, including conveyors, pumps, motors, boilers, cappers, and labelers. + Perform weekly preventive maintenance tasks. + Perform minor welding on stainless and mild steel when necessary. + Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and work independently. + Read and interpret mechanical and electrical prints. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. + Experience in troubleshooting conveyors, pumps, and food packaging machinery. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preventative Maintenance skills. + Proficiency in math. + Ability to lift 75+ pounds. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that offers a direct hire opportunity with competitive pay above the market rate.
