Maintenance Technician

Currently hiring 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Shift: 3rd shift (rotating 2,2,3 schedule) from 6pm-6am.

Candidates will train on the first shift (Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm) Job DescriptionPerform preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery.Troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, etc.Conduct both mechanical and electrical repairs.Handle facilities repairs when needed.Utilize blueprints and schematics for effective repairs.Set up and change over machinery as required.Write PLCs and work with AutoCad.Engage in thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, sequencing, etc.Essential Skills3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with PLCs.Experience working with electrical systems up to 480V.Competency in Mathematics, including fractions, addition/subtraction, and measuring.Proficiency in using blueprints and schematics.Skills in hydraulics, welding, stick welding, and fabrication.Additional Skills & Qualifications70/30 mechanical to electrical skill balance.Experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting.Ownership of personal tools.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.
