**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Join a dynamic steel manufacturing facility in NW Houston as a Maintenance Technician on the day shift. You will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment, including tasks such as replacing bearings, motors, pumps, sprockets, rollers, and conveyors. The role involves electrical maintenance duties such as tracing wires, replacing fuses and relays, and wiring-up 3-phase motors. Additional responsibilities include checking and refilling hydraulic fluids, lubricating equipment, and performing basic HVAC and plumbing maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. + Replace bearings, motors, pumps, sprockets, rollers, and conveyors. + Conduct electrical maintenance, including tracing wires, replacing fuses and relays, and wiring-up 3-phase motors. + Check and refill hydraulic fluids and lubricate equipment. + Conduct basic HVAC maintenance and plumbing repairs. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience with conveyors, bearings, rollers, sprockets, and pumps. + 4+ years of hydraulic and pneumatic experience. + Basic electrical maintenance skills, including fuses, relays, tracing wires, and wiring motors. + Experience using a computer for email communication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bi-lingual proficiency. + HVAC repair experience. + Plumbing repair experience. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers a chance to work in a thriving industry where you can utilize and expand your skills.
