**Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Mill Set-Up/Machinist who has experience in CNC machining. Candidates with leadership experience will be considered for potential Lead positions on the 2nd shift. This role involves operating, setting up, and program editing various materials, ranging from plastics to metals.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and set up CNC machines including Haas mills and lathes, 2 and 3 axis, with future upgrades to 4 and 5 axis.
+ Download programs to machines, prepare tooling, set up fixtures, and conduct dry runs.
+ Edit programs using G&M codes as needed after the first piece.
+ Ensure the machining of materials meets quality standards by reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
+ Provide leadership support and guidance to 7 Machinists on the 2nd shift.
+ Assist with secondary operations and support tasks, including packaging materials, deburring, and prepping parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience operating Mill/Lathe 3 axis machines.
+ Proficiency in blueprint and GD&T reading.
+ Experience with Fanuc Controls.
+ Ability to conduct full set-up of CNC lathe or mill 3 axis.
+ Capability to download programs and make necessary G&M code edits.
+ Leadership skills or potential for leadership roles.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Strong preference for experience with Haas machinery.
+ Knowledge of live tooling.
+ MasterCAM editing and programming knowledge.
+ Experience with Haas Controls.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of AUBURN HILLS, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
