Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team on a university campus. This role involves performing light carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
ResponsibilitiesPerform light carpentry tasks such as repairing and maintaining structures.Conduct light drywall repairs and installations.Address minor plumbing issues, including fixing clogs in drains or toilets.Replace window screens and door knobs or doors as needed.Assist with various projects across campus, contributing wherever needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years experience as a Facilities Technician in a commercial property setting.Proficiency in handyman skills with a variety of tasks.Experience with hand tools, painting, and drywall.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong customer-facing skills with a professional demeanor.Ability to adapt and assist wherever required, exhibiting a can-do attitude.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is based on a university campus. The work schedule is Wednesday to Sunday, from 7am to 3:30pm. The role requires a presentable appearance and professionalism as you will be interacting with customers and the university community.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
