Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of production machines and plant facilities. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery while adhering to established safety, health, and quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesUnderstand, follow, and enforce all safety, health, quality GMP, and company policies and procedures.Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.Set up and troubleshoot packaging machines and lines.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.Observe machine operations to ensure product quality and conformity to standards.Regulate machine flow or speed.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and perform scheduled maintenance.Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills for troubleshooting and repair.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years' experience in foods, packaging, printing, powder, pharma, or similar industries.Experience with preventive maintenance on equipment.Familiarity with motors, pneumatic, hydraulics, conveyors, fillers, and scaling systems.Competence with single and three-phase equipment and voltages up to 480.Proficiency in using basic electrical testing equipment (volt meter, amp meter, ohm meter).Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding experience is a plus.Ability to understand and work with PLCs, including different brands.Experience with Bosch vertical bagger systems is beneficial.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
