**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical aptitude to join our team. The role involves performing diagnostics and maintenance on various equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. **Responsibilities** + Conduct mechanical diagnostics and perform maintenance on equipment. + Interpret and read shop drawings and blueprints to execute maintenance tasks efficiently. + Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime. + Organize and prioritize workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Communicate effectively with team members and other departments. **Essential Skills** + Proven mechanical aptitude. + Ability to interpret and read shop drawings and blueprints. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Excellent organizational and communication skills. + Capability to multitask and prioritize workloads. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role, open to candidates with 1 year or more. **Why Work Here** Join a close-knit, family-oriented team with opportunities for advancement and engaging projects. Choose from various shifts: 1st shift (7AM - 3:30PM), 2nd shift (3PM - 11:30PM), or 3rd shift (11PM - 7:30AM), Monday through Friday. Occasionally, overtime is available on weekends. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florida, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
