**Maintenance Technician** Currently hiring 3rd shift Maintenance Technicians in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Shift:** 3rd shift (rotating 2,2,3 schedule) from 6pm-6am. + Candidates will train on the first shift (Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm) **Job Description** + Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery. + Troubleshoot and repair blowing molding machines, extrusion machines, conveyors, etc. + Conduct both mechanical and electrical repairs. + Handle facilities repairs when needed. + Utilize blueprints and schematics for effective repairs. + Set up and change over machinery as required. + Write PLCs and work with AutoCad. + Engage in thermoforming, sheet/roll fed, heater bands, sequencing, etc. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with PLCs. + Experience working with electrical systems up to 480V. + Competency in Mathematics, including fractions, addition/subtraction, and measuring. + Proficiency in using blueprints and schematics. + Skills in hydraulics, welding, stick welding, and fabrication. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 70/30 mechanical to electrical skill balance. + Experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting. + Ownership of personal tools. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Lockport, Illinois **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $83200.00/yr.
