**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a hands-on, self-directed Maintenance Technician to assist with general equipment and facilities tasks on the production floor and around the building. This role involves approximately 70% equipment work and 30% facilities maintenance. You will support daily operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial and automated equipment. This role is essential to minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance of production systems in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
+ Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems, pumps, ovens, heaters, conveyors, and other production equipment.
+ Perform light PM tasks on CNC machinery and maintain pleating and adhesive application machines.
+ Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems and electrical circuits, including high-voltage components.
+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
+ Utilize CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities and managing work orders.
+ Interface with external vendors and contractors for equipment support and upgrades.
+ Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, and promote a safe work environment.
+ Train junior technicians and assist in cross-functional maintenance initiatives.
+ Support project-based work and continuous improvement efforts as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and mechanical systems.
+ Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and basic electronics.
+ Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
+ High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a technical degree/certification in electromechanical systems, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Welding Experience (Preferred)
+ Boilers License (Nice to Have)
+ Machining Experience (Nice to Have)
+ Forklift Maintenance Experience (Nice to Have)

**Work Environment**
Work alongside another technician on the 2nd shift, with training available on the first shift if possible. The hours are 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility in start time provided it remains consistent.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Bear Lake, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
