**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of process and production equipment. Your expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems will support the smooth functioning of the facility. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment as well as general building maintenance. + Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment. + Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements. + Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. + Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators. + Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Excellent mechanical aptitude. + Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics. + Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English. + Ability to read and interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings. + Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior background in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus. + Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus. + Self-starter with a willingness to perform other related duties as required. + Able to work overtime as required. + High school diploma or GED. + Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, and/or other areas is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the flexibility of selecting your preferred working hours within a standard 8-hour third shift.
