**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for the 2nd shift with a strong emphasis on electrical maintenance. Join our team to perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on various systems and machinery. **Responsibilities** + Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and PLCs. + Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, including 480V and 110V systems, wiring, and more. + Work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. + Focus primarily on cold roll forming machines, but also work on programmable Bridgeport lathes, packaging conveyors, band saws, surface grinders, cranes, and more. + Troubleshoot and repair equipment, which may involve teardown and rebuild. + Perform preventive maintenance twice weekly, with project work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. + Engage in projects like PLC upgrades, which can last several weeks. + Meet daily with management to receive tasks for the day or week. + Maintain progress records and sign off on completed work. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience. + Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance. + Strong mechanical maintenance skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with PLCs is a significant advantage. + Capability to work autonomously and take the initiative. + Basic hand tools required, such as a multi-meter, wiring tools, and drivers. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy yearly raises up to 3%, with potential for additional increases every six months based on performance. The 2nd shift operates from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. There is no on-call requirement for weekends, and weekend work is rare. Potential overtime is minimal and managed through a rotating schedule to ensure work-life balance. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Bristol, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $70000.00/yr. SELLING POINTS: -Yearly raises up to 3%, potential for increase outside of that on a 6 month basis, all based on performance. -Lots of variety in maintenance, never the same thing every day, some days busy, slow, some days troubleshooting, some doing PMs, some repairs and some days full training. -There is a lot to know and a lot to learn. 3 years to get good, 5 to get great. Will have 1 day a week once perm for a full 8 hours of training weekly, focusing around aspects of the job they don't know. -5 pillar bonus on the production floor that pays up to 41.75/hr. worked and paid monthly, performance based. -Perfect attendance bonus, can pay up to $1/hr. worked monthly. -Competitive benefits, medical, dental, vision, 401k; match 100% up to 3% and 50% on the next 3%, not vested. Benefits are active 30 days on the 1st of the month. 401k active after 180 days permanent. -88 hours PTO accrued over first year, prorated based on start date. -If hired perm to start, 90 day probationary period with 2 sick days. -Vacation paid out at year end, doesn't roll over. -Good working environment, very employee focused.
