Job Description
This maintenance position involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing steel plate and steel coil manufacturing equipment, including plasma tables and steel coil lines, with occasional PM work on forklifts. The role requires spending 75% of the time in the production area, executing PMs and handling breakdowns of various equipment.
ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance on plant equipment, including lubrication, monitoring, repairing, PMs, and inspections.Identify potential equipment problems and initiate improvement projects.Complete Work Orders efficiently.Communicate with Operators to ensure smooth operation and detect equipment problems or concerns.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting mechanical issues.Preventive maintenance in industrial settings.Experience with welding, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of preventive maintenance experience.PLC troubleshooting experience is nice to have.Proficiency in welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a 4x10 schedule from Monday to Thursday, 2:20 PM to 12:50 AM, with occasional on-call duties. The environment is an industrial, very large warehouse originally built to accommodate war ship construction, offering an old-school atmosphere. While sheltered from the elements, expect hot conditions in the summer and cold conditions in the winter due to frequent door openings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
