Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician** **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and determine appropriate repair or replacement of parts. + Perform preventative maintenance and inspections using proper tools and procedures. + Operate and adjust equipment such as centrifuges, dryers, pumps, fans, blowers, drag/screw conveyors, bucket elevators, hammermills, bag houses, piping, and valves. + Assist electrical staff with installations, maintenance, and repairs of equipment. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years in troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and parts maintenance. + 3+ years experience working on various machinery including centrifuges and conveyors. + Working knowledge of forklift and man lift operation. + Valid driver's license. + High School Diploma. + Capability to climb 80-100 feet on steps and/or ladder and occasionally lift 50-80 pounds. + Knowledge of electrical, welding, and blueprint reading is a plus. **Work Environment** You will work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including confined spaces, and be exposed to chemicals, pressurized steam, dust, heat, noise, and fumes. The shift is from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, you will be on call approximately one out of every five weeks. The dress code is casual, and uniforms along with steel-toed boots and other safety equipment will be provided. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. igibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
