**Maintenance Technician**

**Job Description**
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure all facility equipment is maintained in proper and safe operating condition to minimize downtime for operations. This includes performing repairs and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems, lift trucks and powered equipment, dock plates, trailer restraints, and overhead doors. Additionally, the role involves performing repairs and modifications to facility electrical and lighting systems, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems, as well as maintaining large stationary air compressors and air distribution pipes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems.
+ Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on all lift trucks and powered equipment, dock plates, trailer restraints, and overhead doors.
+ Execute repairs and modifications to facility electrical and lighting systems.
+ Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance to HVAC systems, including office and warehouse rooftop units.
+ Utilize Parts Manuals and CMMS software to identify and locate required parts.
+ Conduct interior finish work and repairs, including painting and drywall.
+ Perform repairs to plumbing systems, including commercial restroom fixtures.
+ Maintain large stationary air compressors and air distribution pipes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Conveyor systems maintenance.
+ 3 phase wiring expertise.
+ HVAC system maintenance.
+ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
+ PLC troubleshooting.
+ Hydraulics and pneumatics repair.
+ Air compressor maintenance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills.
+ Minimum of one year of experience in industrial maintenance areas such as conveyor systems, lift trucks, and facility electrical systems including 480V 3 phase.
+ Demonstrated high level of initiative and ability to work independently.
+ Must supply own basic hand tools; specialized tools and test equipment will be provided.
**Work Environment**
+ Second shift from Monday to Friday, 4 PM to 12:30 AM with a $1 shift differential
+ Weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts from 6 AM to 6:30 PM with a $2.50 shift differential.
+ Training for the 2nd shift will occur on the first shift during the week, Monday to Friday, for 4-5 months depending on experience, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
+ Training for the weekend shift will occur 3 days during the week for 4-5 months depending on experience, from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Avon,IN.
