**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician will play a vital role in supporting the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, such as conveyors, and pneumatic systems throughout the building. This position requires proficiency in installing and maintaining various components, including photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders. The technician will also provide feedback on tasks within the Preventive Maintenance programs and complete assigned PMs, suggesting improvements when necessary.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
+ Install and maintain photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
+ Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs.
+ Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and suggest improvements.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
+ 4+ years of experience in repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
+ 4+ years of experience in blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
+ 4+ years of knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
+ 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
+ 4+ years of experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.
+ 3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Candidates should be comfortable with their performance being tracked by data and numbers, as a system is in place to ensure expectations are met. The job involves walking 10,000 steps per day and moving up to 49 lbs at a time. Applicants must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available for all shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Plainfield, Indiana.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
