**Maintenance Technician in Tobaccoville, NC** **Pay starting between $35-39/HR** **Responsibilities** + Provide support for Siemens and other PLC systems. + Support Profibus, ControlNet, and Ethernet data communication systems. + Troubleshoot variable frequency and DC motor drive systems. + Work from various vendor-provided schematics. + Use common electronic diagnostic equipment. + Troubleshoot to determine the root cause of equipment failure and perform corrective maintenance accordingly. + Effectively communicate with peers and management. + Perform Quality Instrumentation Calibration Checks. + Conduct Monthly Electrical Cabinet inspections and cleaning. + Perform Daily Machine CILs to confirm machine settings and functionality ensuring product quality. + Shadow Cell Technicians to learn machine operation and function for troubleshooting and repairing machine issues. + Design and assemble electrical control cabinets. + Complete EHS-required training and follow operational procedures. **Essential Skills** + Extensive knowledge of PLC systems. + Good troubleshooting abilities. + Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Allen-Bradley systems. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. + Familiarity with AC/DC motors. **Work Environment** A very clean working environment within a fully climate-controlled facility. Access a large facility with a court available to all employees. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $34.54 - $35.54/hr.
