Our Automotive Client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be able to Diagnosis, Repair, and Overhaul machines and Hydraulic equipment. Preform layouts and use various tolls and precision measuring instruments. Understand the function and operation of tool room machines. **Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Location: Sterling Heights, MI** **Pay Range: $29.00 to $32.00/HR** **1** **st** **Shift – 5:00am to 3:30pm** **2nd Shift – 4:00pm to 2:30am** **What’s the Job?** + Repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNC’s, building, presses and equipment throughout plants including electrical repair and PLC troubleshooting. Heavy machine repair of presses. + Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment. + Install new equipment as required based on blueprints and layout schematics. + Rebuild and/or refurbish equipment including CNC’s, presses, conveyors, feed systems and transfers + Responsible for the safety, cleanliness and orderliness of the Maintenance Department and at machines/equipment when performing work **What’s Needed?** + Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical + Experience with MIG and ARC welding. + Ability to operate maintenance machinery such as Bridgeport, surface grinder, lathe and drill press and precision measuring equipment + Own tools needed for performance of maintenance functions + Must possess a Valid Drivers license **What’s it in for me?** + Great work environment + Competitive pay + Well established Automotive company + Ability to be directly hired in 90 days or less.
