**Aerotek is hiring a Distribution Center Maintenance Technician in Ashland, VA!** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will primarily focus on performing mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems, baler machines, and box-making machines. You should possess basic industrial electrical experience, including the ability to replace 3-phase 480v motors and gear boxes, as well as sensors, relays, and photo eyes. Your role will also involve assisting in general building maintenance tasks such as drywall, painting, and plumbing. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems, baler machines, and box-making machines. + Conduct minor maintenance tasks on forklifts and conveyor systems within the distribution center. + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems. + Understand and maintain self-automated packaging line equipment. + Troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain control wiring and electrical circuits. + Start up air compressors in the morning and shut them down at the end of the shift. + Receive training on operating scissor and boom lifts. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a Maintenance Technician. + Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills. + Mechanical and industrial expertise. + Basic industrial electrical experience with 3-phase 480v motors and gear boxes. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to replace sensors, relays, and photo eyes. + Experience in general building maintenance including drywall, painting, and plumbing. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a modern, climate-controlled building with a strong culture of safety.
