**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment. The role is pivotal in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our machinery, with a focus on scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventative programs. This position requires expertise in mechanical and electrical systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment. + Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs. + Execute mechanical skills including troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production equipment. + Implement preventative maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment. + Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production. + Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. + Perform all other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Experience with preventive maintenance and hand tools. + Skill in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial machines and capital equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent. + 2+ years of related experience in packaging/production machinery. + Technical training and exposure to various types of manufacturing machinery preferred. + Ability to perform general to advanced math computations. + Strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings. + Initiative and problem-solving skills. + Physical ability to lift approximately 40 lbs and frequently engage in push, pull, squat, bend, and reach activities. **Work Environment** You will work in a cleanroom environment in one area, following a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. The position involves handling industrial machines and capital equipment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Manchester, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
