**Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of all production machinery within the plant, as well as the overall facility upkeep and maintenance. This role involves performing basic administrative and organizational tasks to ensure seamless completion of maintenance activities, successful production processes, and a safe working environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain and repair all production machinery.
+ Conduct regular inspections and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all facility areas.
+ Ensure the proper working of all electrical units and systems in the facility.
+ Keep a record of all day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in the facility and with all machinery.
+ Comply with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while carrying out maintenance functions.
+ Collaborate with the purchasing department to place orders for spare parts and equipment needed for repairs.

+ Working with 3-phase electrical systems
+ CNC mechanic experience

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work well with others as a team player
+ Technical school degree or extensive prior experience preferred
+ Extensive mechanical experience with heavy industrial manufacturing machinery, including manual gear cutters, CNC, lathes, and mills

**Work Environment**
The work environment consists of both office settings and production floor areas, primarily around CNC machinery. The company has 40 employees, and the role may require interaction with both office and production staff.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmhurst, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
