**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the optimal, efficient, and safe operation of injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment. You will be a key individual in making repairs and performing preventative maintenance to maintain the day-to-day functions. Our team rotates weekend hours, with Sundays offering double time once you become a direct hire. You will be responsible for troubleshooting problems, identifying cost-effective solutions, making repairs, and maintaining equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment.
+ Troubleshoot problems and identify cost-effective solutions to maintain equipment.
+ Ensure optimal, efficient, and safe day-to-day operations of machinery.
+ Identify and suggest resolutions for potential mechanical and safety-related issues.
+ Handle components including conveyors, work tables, fixtures, dryers, grinders, machine guards, assembly equipment, and gauges.
**Essential Skills**
+ Troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Experience with plastic injection molding machines (minimum 3 years).
+ Electrical troubleshooting up to 240V.
+ Ability to troubleshoot sensors and motors.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ PLC troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with robotic systems such as Nachi and Fanuc.
+ Strong team mentality and good attendance.

**Work Environment**
This position is based in a clean plastics assembly plant that occasionally gets dusty. You will interact primarily with PMs and manufacturing personnel. The plant is launching a new line and adding a third shift, providing a dynamic and evolving work environment. Training is provided on the first shift for one to two weeks before transitioning to off-shifts. The facility operates 5-6 days a week, with 10pm-6am shifts from Monday to Friday, and additional hours as needed based on production demands.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Warren, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.95/hr.
