Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing maintenance tasks and troubleshooting equipment issues using work orders, specifications, blueprints, and schematics. This role involves performing moderate to advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, pumps, HVAC, cranes, forklifts, compressors, and other facility equipment.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair CNC machines, pumps, HVAC systems, cranes, forklifts, compressors, and other facility equipment.Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently.Monitor fluid levels and manage coolant for machines, including safe transportation and storage.Read and interpret work orders, specifications, blueprints, and schematics.Essential SkillsProficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues.Experience with CNC maintenance, particularly with Okuma and Mazak machines.Ability to read ladder logic.Knowledge of 480v electrical systems, fuses, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Must be a US Citizen.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment requires hearing protection due to excessive noise and involves exposure to dust, smoke, mist, fumes/vapors regularly, with occasional extreme temperatures. The role operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, averaging 45-50 hours a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, Georgia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
