Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician in a state-of-the-art linen processing facility. This role requires a proactive and skilled technician who can maintain and troubleshoot modern equipment in a fast-paced environment. The facility is equipped with new machinery, and a significant focus is on preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain production equipment.Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.Install new equipment and ensure proper functioning.Command control circuitry and mechanical devices.Quickly determine faults, make timely corrections, and return equipment to production.Perform blow down procedures, emptying dryers of lint.Shut down equipment and secure the facility as the last shift of the day.Essential SkillsStrong troubleshooting ability in electrical control fields, including PLCs, inverter drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, bearings, chains and belting, conveying systems, and valves.Basic blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting.Experience with steam systems is preferred.Ability to move heavy equipment/machinery, climb ladders, and perform repetitive motions.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.Minimum of one year of maintenance experience in an industrial setting or equivalent.Basic mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles.Understanding of basic hand tool functions.Ability to operate support equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.Team-focused attitude and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean and climate-controlled facility dedicated to processing hospital linens. The role involves significant physical activity, including walking and moving throughout the shift. Personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements are in place to ensure safety.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.62 - $29.62/hr.
