We're hiring a Maintenance Technician for a family owned Lens Manufacturing Company in Chester, PA area.
This is a contract to hire opportunity and we're hiring immediately. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of manufacturing equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience within industrial manufacturing.

Job Description
As a Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining all of the production equipment onsite. This role requires a proactive approach to organizing and determining repair and maintenance procedures, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.
ResponsibilitiesOrganize and determine repair and maintenance procedures, priorities, and proceed with minimum supervision or direction.Move and erect all types of machine tools and equipment for new installations or plant layout changes.Maintain and repair milling machinery.Perform electrical maintenance from fault diagnosis to replacement of components such as spindle and axis motors, power supplies, drive modules and cards, connectors, and proximity switches.Repair and troubleshoot pneumatics, controllers, relays, motors, transformers, and power supplies.Rebuild certain parts such as motors instead of ordering new ones.Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubles, involving repairs and replacement of monitors, controls, switches, and devices.Replace fitting bearings, bushings, O rings, gears, shafts, using a broad range of hand and machine tools.Calibrate all production equipment.SkillsProficiency in electrical troubleshooting.Strong troubleshooting skills.Experience in pneumatics, repair, and hydraulics.Preventive maintenance expertise.Ability to perform electrical maintenance and repairs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with preventative maintenance of phase motors.Work Environment
The work environment features high-tech machines on a production floor that is mostly automated by computers. Contractors are responsible for final assembly inspection and shipping, offering a more hands-on experience with less machining. The environment is clean, with moderate noise levels, and employees are provided with lab coats and safety glasses. Sneakers must be worn at all times.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
