**Maintenance Technician – Norwell, MA** Direct Hire role starting at $37/hr Monday – Friday 3pm-11pm Additional shift times available if you cannot do second shift. Manpower is assisting a well-known company local to Norwell, MA in hiring and experienced industrial maintenance technician. This role is with a top company that provides a great working environment and room for advancement. We are seeking a candidate bringing prior experience as a mechanic within the **manufacturing industry.** **Position Job Responsibilities:** + Organize and facilitate maintenance on all production and facility equipment with emphasis on equipment uptime and to resolve quality and production related issues in the spirit of continuous improvement, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting + Troubleshoot programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. + Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings / execute and prioritize work orders + Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components + Installation, modification and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules - motors, transformers, lights, generators, circuits, and basic components + Diagnose and analyze difficult operating malfunctions and prioritize major, extensive, or emergency repairs + Use electrical test equipment as needed for repair and troubleshooting + Assist in setting up predictive and preventative maintenance programs and perform timely equipment inspections to insure proper operation and safety compliance of manufacturing equipment **What’s in it for you?** + Pension, Health Benefits that start on DAY 1, 2 weeks of PTO to start + Work in a clean, climate-controlled environment + Great company culture and impressive tenure by current employees + Working in a unique industry with the leading company in their market!
