**Job Title: Maintenance Technician *$28-$42/hour*** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for machine repair and planning projects to ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives. This role involves equipment and tooling fabrication, as well as training related associates to ensure continuous process improvements. **Responsibilities** + Perform machine repair and maintenance tasks. + Plan and execute projects to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals. + Fabricate equipment and tooling. + Train associates for continuous process improvements. + Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. + Engage in preventative and predictive maintenance practices. + Work with PLC and electrical troubleshooting. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. + Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance. + PLC troubleshooting. + Electrical troubleshooting. + Strong leadership skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Journeyman card or 10+ years maintenance experience preferred for highest paid candidates. + Understanding of operator basic care and equipment efficiency metrics. + Skills in electrical, mechanical, machine rigging, light fabrication, power transmission, bearings, lubrication, and pneumatics. + Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, equipment manuals, and technical documentation. + Proficiency with PCs, including the Microsoft Office suite. + Familiarity with PC/PLC control systems. + Experience with paper/nonwovens converting, slitting, winding, filling, packaging, sealing, conveying, and associated equipment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy opportunities for career advancement within the company, along with a competitive wage based on experience, without a listed cap. A 401(k) retirement plan is provided, with company matching that may vary. After 6 months, employees typically receive 4 vacation days. One emergency time off (ETO) day is given per year; more time off requires a doctor’s note. Maternity leave is available after one year of employment.
