Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to analyze and resolve m mechanical and electrical problems, focusing on troubleshooting and continuous improvement on analog and digital electronic control systems, PLC programming, HMI systems, and computer network communications. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of process control instruments and equipment.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and resolve electrical problems, focusing on troubleshooting and continuous improvement on analog/digital electronic control systems.Document and implement work order procedures for new equipment/technology and complete documentation of all system modifications.Install and maintain both pneumatic and electronic process control instruments.Repair, calibrate, and clean instruments, pressure switches, flow tubes, and gauges to ensure minimal downtime and efficient utilization.Maintain flow of processes ensuring proper machine settings and speeds.Monitor key process points and maintain records ensuring compliance with established standards.Act as a troubleshooter to identify line performance issues and assist in correcting them.Install, adjust, and repair processing equipment in accordance with specifications.Maintain equipment utilizing a Planned Maintenance Program.Ensure safety of all employees by continuously monitoring compliance to safety procedures and evaluating processes for safety risks.Oversee strict observance of all safety rules and use extreme caution around moving machinery.Maintain general housekeeping of maintenance and production areas, actively working towards a clean and safe work environment.Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.Essential SkillsExperience in maintenance repair, mechanical repair, and electrical wiring.Proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC troubleshooting.Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and mechanical maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent education experience.Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a food production facility with controlled environmental conditions requiring hair nets, beard nets, and boot coverings. The team size is approximately 6-10 people, working on lines that focus on canning foods.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $66000.00/yr.
Tuition reimbursement for relevant schooling/training to the field
For the Holiday Schedule all days listed are paid without needing to use any PTO. The plant shutdown varies each year based on when the holidays fall but it is always Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day is our shutdown time. President’s Day this year was our floating holiday so that is not always the same.
For the medical premiums the cost does drop for the following year if they do the biometric screen in October at our on-site wellness fair. That information is listed on page 13 in the benefit guide.
There is a wellness program that employees can earn anywhere from $75-$150 based on how many points they earn throughout the year and is paid out to them early January of the following year.
Fitness Club reimbursement program that after 8 visits in one calendar month we reimburse $20 to help with gym membership fees and we provide a discount on fitness tracking devices (fitbit) the company will pay up to $30 on your first purchase of a fitbit whether the purchase is made through the client or if the employee purchases one on their own.
