Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, including conveyors, ovens, and freezers. You will troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, belts, pneumatic systems, and more, utilizing diagrams, sketches, manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Your role will involve removing defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools, examining the form and texture of parts for wear, and maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventories. You will ensure compliance with food industry GMPs, Quality Assurance, and Safe Practices, along with accurate documentation and record-keeping. Additionally, maintaining a safe and clean working environment will be a priority.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on production equipment such as conveyors, ovens, and freezers.Troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, belts, and pneumatic systems.Utilize diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specs for maintenance tasks.Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools.Examine parts for wear and maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories.Ensure compliance with food industry GMPs, Quality Assurance, and Safe Practices.Accurately document and keep records of maintenance activities.Maintain a safe and clean working environment.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of technical education or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical fields.Prior LOTO training and forklift certification desired; re-certification provided.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day.Ability to work at heights using ladders and lifts.Ability to tolerate hot and cold temperatures, including time spent in cold storage or near ovens.Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and lift 50 pounds or more.Capability for overhead reaching and lifting.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical and electrical maintenance skills.Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.Work Environment
The role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment. You will spend time in varying temperature conditions, including cold storage and areas near ovens. The job requires physical stamina, as you will be standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Safety and cleanliness are emphasized, with appropriate attire for working with machinery.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
$1,000 annual tool allowance
$130.00 safety shoe allowance
$200 on-call bonus
4 hour minimum call-in bonus
