Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing process and production equipment, as well as general building maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment. + Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment. + Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements. + Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock and placing orders as necessary. + Work collaboratively with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators. + Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Excellent mechanical aptitude. + Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics. + Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English. + Skill in interpreting instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings. + Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus. + Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic. + Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus. + Self-starter with a willingness to perform other related duties as required. + Ability to work overtime as required. + High school diploma or GED. + Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical or mechanical is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join our team for the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with the flexibility to choose your own hours.
