**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will engage in both preventative and reactive maintenance and repair of various systems including extraction, mix-blend, boilers, HVAC, cooling towers, waste treatment, water softeners, RO units, and production equipment. This position will require proficiency in light electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic work. **Responsibilities** + Perform planned, corrective, and unplanned maintenance on specified equipment. + Utilize available documentation for equipment to troubleshoot and repair. + Ensure workplace safety by eliminating unsafe conditions. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Support Quality Systems. + Protect company assets by directly addressing conditions that result in equipment or building abuse. + Execute the preventive maintenance program as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. + Inspect operating machines and equipment for compliance with operational standards. + Maintain communication within the maintenance team for smooth shift transitions. **Essential Skills** + Experience in maintenance technician roles. + Electrical troubleshooting skills. + Hydraulics and mechanical expertise. + Proficiency in pneumatic systems and repair. + Preventive maintenance knowledge. + Ability to work with schematics, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical troubleshooting. + Understanding of 3-phase electrical systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with production equipment, preferably in food production. + Basic knowledge of business software and manufacturing software (HMIs, PLCs). **Why Work Here?** Enjoy great pay, job security, and an environment that supports and collaborates with employees. **Work Environment** The role involves working with various technologies and equipment in a dynamic setting, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alexandria, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
