Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician- Paying up to $35/hr!

Job Description

The maintenance technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in accordance with electrical diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. This role requires performing root-cause analysis for all mechanical and electrical equipment, with advanced skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

ResponsibilitiesPerform root-cause analysis and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment such as motors, pneumatic systems, conveyors, blending, scaling, filling, cartooning, coding/printing, electrical, compressed air, vacuum hydraulic, and bulk-filling systems.Troubleshoot mechanical systems related to production and plant support equipment, including single-phase to three-phase equipment with voltages ranging from 5VDC to 480 VAC.Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layouts.Troubleshoot electrical wiring, relay logic, control, and safety circuits.Troubleshoot electronic boards, PLCs, touch screens, displays, contactors, and motors.Use and read a volt meter, amp meter, ohm meter, and other electrical testing equipment.Address mechanical issues related to power transmissions, chain and belt drives, cams, bearings, and actuators.Handle pneumatic and hydraulic controls and components.Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting.Teardown and rebuild gearboxes, clutches, actuators, and other assemblies related to equipment repairs.Utilize hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment such as drill presses, surface grinders, torches, plasma cutters, pipe threaders, brakes, presses, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.Fabricate parts, guarding, and parts modifications for equipment repairs and improvements, including MIG/TIG welding.Essential SkillsProficiency in PLC, troubleshooting, and gearboxes.Experience in interpreting blueprints and pneumatics.Expertise in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.Familiarity with 480V systems.Background in manufacturing maintenance.Experience in the food and beverage industry.Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with relay logic and electrical schematics.Ability to perform fabrication and MIG/TIG welding.Competence in using volt meters, amp meters, and ohm meters.Experience in manufacturing maintenance lead roles.Why Work Here?

This position is set within a food and beverage work environment, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, and other protective gear. The work conditions can be wet and/or humid, providing a challenging yet rewarding atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $74880.00/yr.
