Primary Job Function\n\nResponsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and mechanical equipment. Includes installation of new equipment, performance of regular services and periodic/preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions.\n\n \n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nPerforms repair and periodic maintenance on production equipment: punches, lasers, press brakes, and other manufacturing equipment.\nUses hand and power tools to inspect, lubricate, repair, fabricate, assemble, and install equipment.\nWorks closely with machine operators and production supervisors and assists in the startup, operation and troubleshooting/repair of equipment.\nUtilizes a variety of electrical, pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and welding procedures/equipment.\nPerforms facility-related (including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC) preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair as necessary.\nFollows proper practices/procedures to minimize the down time of machines by keeping them in safe working order.\nFollows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment.\nKeeps work area clean and organized\nPerforms other duties as assigned

Minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications and related job experience that employee typically must have to perform essential functions of the job acceptably.\n\n7+ years of experience in a production setting\nMust have a current Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician’s License (LME)\nAny relevant post high school training field specific preferred\nExperience with machine maintenance (pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical), welding, and basic plumbing/electrical/HVAC work required.\nAbility to correctly and safely use hand and power tools to inspect, lubricate, repair, fabricate, assemble, and install equipment.\nMust be able to work closely and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization as well as outside service providers.\nBasic shop math and measurement skills and ability to effectively read manuals \nMust have knowledge and awareness to comply with all standard Federal, State and Local regulations and policies, including (but not limited to) Lock Out Tag procedures for all types of equipment, proper handling of solvents and chemicals according to SDS sheets, vision, hearing and respiratory protection, and proper lifting techniques as may be required within the scope of the job at hand.\nStrong attention to detail\nDependability; honesty & integrity; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to use time productively, working with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.\nAbility to work overtime as required

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
