Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for mechanical troubleshooting with gears, pulleys, bearings, motors, conveyors, skid steers, and hi-lo equipment. You will also need an electrical background dealing with VFDs, motors, and basic electrical troubleshooting. Your role will include welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting 480 Volt PLC systems. This position requires experience in troubleshooting, fabrication, and installing new equipment without requiring training.
ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical troubleshooting with gears, conveyor systems, motors, and belts.Conduct electrical troubleshooting using electrical prints and work with VFDs and PLCs.Weld and fabricate as required.Troubleshoot and install new equipment efficiently.Maintain industrial equipment, including conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.Essential SkillsMechanical troubleshooting expertise in gears, conveyor systems, motors, and belts.Electrical troubleshooting skills with electrical prints, VFDs, and PLC systems.Proficiency in welding and fabrication.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with shredding machines is a plus.Holding a Journeyman Card is an advantage.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, warehouse-like setting that is not temperature controlled. Expect a dusty and dirty atmosphere, dealing with shredded paper and pellets. The position is for the 1st shift, which runs from 6 AM to 4 PM or 7 AM to 5 PM, with a half-day on Friday for projects and preventative maintenance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
