**Job Title: Maintenance Technician, Direct Hire, Lexington, TN** **2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2:00PM (Double time on Sundays or anything over 60 hours)** **$28-$33/hr** **Job Description** Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment within a production facility equipped with various fabrication machinery, including laser cutters, punch presses, and machining centers. The role involves performing electrical troubleshooting and repair on systems ranging from 110v to 480v, as well as mechanical repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, transfer conveyors, thermal ovens, and conducting preventative maintenance tasks. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment. + Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair of systems ranging from 110v to 480v, including wiring, installations, connector circuits, running conduit, and wiring motors. + Conduct mechanical repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, transfer conveyors, thermal ovens, machining centers, and preventative maintenance tasks. + Carry out maintenance on overhead cranes and hoists, with over 50 overhead units in the plant. + Perform facilities maintenance as needed. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience. + Experience in heavy manufacturing environments, particularly metal fabrication. + Electrical experience with wiring up to 480v and basic PLC troubleshooting. + Ability to work independently after training. + Experience with troubleshooting older machinery. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + **Respirator fit test required for pre-employment, necessitating a clean-shaven face.** + Punch or brake press experience, HAAS vertical machining, and PLC ladder logic troubleshooting and minor editing are advantageous. + Induction welding knowledge is a bonus but not required. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with competitive rates, retirement incentives, tuition reimbursement, and holiday pay after 90 days.
