Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will perform mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed corrugating machinery, including printing presses, die cutting, flexogluing, and packaging equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance tasks such as oiling, lubricating, and greasing parts. The technician will utilize blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot issues and use hand and power tools, including volt meters and electrical testing tools, to complete repairs. Additionally, general building maintenance duties are required. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on high-speed corrugating machinery, including printing presses and packaging equipment. + Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, such as oiling, lubricating, and greasing parts. + Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to aid in troubleshooting and repairs. + Use hand and power tools, including volt meters and electrical testing tools, to complete repairs. + Carry out general building maintenance tasks. **Essential Skills** + Ability to troubleshoot and repair motors, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems. + Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. + Experience with PLCs and printing press machinery. + At least 5 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience on manufacturing equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Trade schooling is preferred. + Capability to troubleshoot to root cause. **Why Work Here?** Join a brand new, state-of-the-art facility with plans to double in size over the next decade. Maintenance team members are required to work overtime, often on Saturdays, as the facility is built out. **Job Type & Location** This position is based out of Elgin, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
