Job Description
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in an aluminum extrusion environment, where you will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance. This role involves handling preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and facilities maintenance tasks. You will work with aluminum extrusion machines, CNCs, brake presses, lasers, and powder coating machines, ensuring continuous production operations.
ResponsibilitiesParticipate in daily Passover meetings to discuss maintenance priorities.Perform reactive maintenance to keep production running efficiently.Troubleshoot and repair extrusion machines, including 3-phase 480v motors, servo and AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, extruders, VFDs, and gearboxes.Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings and tightening bolts.Operate and troubleshoot PLCs for machine control.Utilize skills in die casting machines or plastic injection molding presses if applicable.Essential SkillsProficiency in pneumatics and hydraulics.Experience in PLC troubleshooting and industrial maintenance.Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, including 3-phase 480v.Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of hydraulic presses.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding skills.Experience in facilities maintenance.Previous experience with extrusion processes.Work Environment
The work environment is an industrial manufacturing setting where you can expect to work various shifts, starting with 8-10 hour days. You will be part of major preventive maintenance programs twice a year, typically in July and December. The dress code includes wearing jeans and steel-toed footwear. Shift options include 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm), 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm), and 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
