Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in the composite siding manufacturing industry. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. Candidates should have 5-7 years of manufacturing experience and be proficient in both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.

ResponsibilitiesKeep the machines running as efficiently as possible in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Help identify both potential and existing problems affecting the company and communicate with all work groups about any issues, trends, or improvement methods.Exhibit knowledge of health and safety regulations, assess safety conditions, anticipate actions and reactions, and act safely while wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining good housekeeping practices.Perform tasks in an organized and efficient manner, handling multiple activities simultaneously.Accomplish all routine shift assignments and assist with operational support when needed.Notify supervisor of defective equipment, tools, materials, or other conditions hindering safety, quality, or production.Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the production communication board.Utilize available technology and perform necessary applications.Operate, understand, and troubleshoot all production-related equipment, including but not limited to extruders, grinders, laser printers, ink jet printers, color feeders, slitters, punch presses, slit/heat/form/nail tables, MRF, etc.Participate in group meetings to exchange job-related information.Perform corrective actions for any major product line problems.Other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical expereince with experience troubleshooting common mechanical breakdowns on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, rollers, saws, etc.Electrical troubleshooting experience with 480v, single and 3 phase power, motor installation and rewiring.Basic electrical experience.Experience with maintenance, multicraft, electrical (AC/DC), motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, diagnosis, metrics, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, PLCs, repair, and service.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding/fabrication experience is a plus, used to make machine guards and rebuild bearings.Adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is a plus.3+ years of previous industrial maintenance experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Leadership and self-starter attitude; must be able to prioritize and troubleshoot independently while working on 3rd shift as the only technician.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility prioritizes safety and lean manufacturing. Plant 2 is not climate-controlled but has 12 large fans running constantly to keep the facility cool. It is well-lit, organized, and marked with walkways and safety instructions. 2nd shift opening. The machinery includes banders, CNC, molders, sanders, paint systems, conveyors, mills, etc.
