Maintenance Technician

**Maintenance Technician up to $28 PER HOUR**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting industrial machine control systems, including three wire and PLC controls. Your role will involve installing, repairing, and diagnosing AC and DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 V. You will also work with mechanical power transmission drives, pneumatic equipment, and perform general facility maintenance, plumbing, and carpentry work.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install and troubleshoot industrial machine control systems, including three wire and PLC controls.
+ Install, repair, and diagnose both AC and DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 V.
+ Install, repair, and diagnose mechanical power transmission drives and related systems.
+ Work with pneumatic equipment such as compressors, blowers, solenoids, valves, cylinders, and flow controls.
+ Perform general facility maintenance, plumbing, and carpentry work as required.
+ Support the preventive maintenance system and apply industrial lubricants.
+ Properly handle and apply basic hand and power tools, and test equipment.
+ Support plant production equipment and setup.
+ Execute Breadder, mills, scalper, and sifter setup, changeover, and disassembly requirements.
+ Handle the hookup and unloading of bulk rail materials and proper hookup of bulk material trucks.
+ Maintain and upkeep robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems.
+ Handle waste in compliance with EPA rules.
+ Conduct daily inspection of forklift equipment.
+ Adhere to company rules and procedures.
+ Operate a forklift and lift up to 75 pounds.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with schematics and 480V power systems.
+ Proficiency in conveyor systems and troubleshooting.
+ Electrical troubleshooting skills, including AC motors, overloads, and fuses.
+ Ability to lift 75 pounds for tasks such as blender rebuilds.
+ Pneumatic experience.
+ Schematic reading skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Hydraulics knowledge is a plus, though only 2 machines on site use them.
+ Tow motor/forklift certification is a significant advantage.

**Work Environment**
Work in a food environment that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You may need to perform tasks outside in the dock and rail yard. The site contains a lot of flour and grain, contributing to a unique working atmosphere.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookpark, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
