Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial and production equipment throughout the facility. This role requires independent work to meet maintenance requirements, while also keeping detailed maintenance records. The technician will perform maintenance and repairs on the property, including landscaping and grounds, minor plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, masonry work, and provide sanitation support when necessary.
ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial/production equipment and tools throughout the facility, including greasing motors, checking for air leaks, checking fluid/oil levels, changing oils, replacing belts/rollers on conveyors, and replacing pneumatic pumps.Work independently to meet maintenance requirements.Keep detailed maintenance records.Perform maintenance and repairs on the property, including landscaping and grounds.Conduct minor plumbing maintenance and repair, such as repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing plumbing fixtures.Execute minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and masonry work.Provide sanitation support when necessary and use proper procedures for handling basic cleaning chemicals.Assist with additional projects and other duties as required.Essential SkillsPreventive maintenancePneumaticsTroubleshootingAssemblyConstructionFabricationMaterial handlingQuality controlSteel heat treatingChemical balancingForklift operation3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing and preventative maintenance of sheet metal and machining equipmentExperience in plumbing, air compressors, water lines, pneumatic systems, and electrical systemsProficient with MS Office – Outlook, Word, ExcelAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesProblem-solving skills, initiative, and resourcefulnessPunctuality and consistent attendancePhysical ability to lift 50 pounds or more and participate in activities such as bending, turning, twisting, kneeling, working on ladders, and scrubbingAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience servicing computer and phone lines desiredWork Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
