Job Description
The Electrical Mechanical Controls Technician role demands a competent individual capable of safely troubleshooting, changing, installing, and commissioning all components of mechanical and electrical systems. The primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of systems including motors, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, switch gears, lighting, relays, PLCs (preferably Allen Bradley), overhead crane controls, distribution system wiring, and more.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with applicable Safety Standards and procedures.Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment efficiently.Execute equipment repair procedures accurately.Maintain good housekeeping in work areas.Enter equipment repair history and close out work orders.Update repair procedures as necessary.Communicate effectively with production departments to troubleshoot equipment problems.Support the maintenance inventory system by tracking parts used and needed.Perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.Attend maintenance training courses both on and off-site.Assist in special projects, changes to existing lines, and setup of new lines.Support production lines on a daily-needs basis.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshooting and repair.Mechanical and pneumatic systems knowledge.PLC troubleshooting, including inputs, outputs, and ladder-logic.Preventive maintenance expertise.Knowledge of OSHA requirements.Ability to work independently and within a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsLeadership capabilities.Experience with industrial environments.Detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93600.00/yr.
