**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will efficiently perform scheduled maintenance work and assist in preventative maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment. You will also support the repair and installation of manufacturing equipment when necessary, complete and return forms for all maintenance work, and monitor maintenance supply inventories.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform scheduled maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
+ Assist in preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
+ Support the repair and installation of manufacturing equipment.
+ Complete and return forms related to maintenance work.
+ Monitor and report maintenance supply inventories.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Experience with industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, compressors, pneumatics, and boilers.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Electrical knowledge up to 480 volts.
+ Experience in electrical wiring and maintenance.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Troubleshooting skills, particularly with PLC controls and 3-phase systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with preventive maintenance and repair.
+ Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting.
+ Capability to read schematics.
+ Ability to stand for entire shifts, push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, climb ladders up to 10 ft, and lift up to 75 pounds.

**Work Environment**
Work in a manufacturing environment that is not climate-controlled, which means it can get quite hot in the summer, especially near machinery. The facility is fairly clean but can have dust on the floor typical of a manufacturing setting.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Genoa, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
