Maintenance Technician
**Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Pay up to $32/hr** **_Call 330 224 1231 to set up an interview!_** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician during the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm. In this role, you will be skilled at troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for both production and support equipment. You will also help set up a Preventive Maintenance program and read and understand prints for various systems. Your knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems will be crucial, as will your experience operating material handling equipment. Expect new challenges every day with no on-call hours. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for production and support equipment. + Assist in setting up a Preventive Maintenance program. + Read and understand prints for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Operate material handling equipment efficiently. + Lift up to 50+ pounds as required. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting. + Pneumatics. + PLC troubleshooting. + Multicraft skills. + Minimum of 3+ years of experience in relevant fields. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in CNC Shops, Forging, Casting, Mechanical, and Hydraulics. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive benefits including dental, disability, and life insurance fully paid by the company, along with health insurance where employees pay only a small portion of the premiums. The maintenance team currently consists of four members, including a lead who has been with us for four years, and three production workers who transitioned to maintenance. We are looking for two high-level technicians to join our team and make an immediate impact. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
