**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves troubleshooting and performing mechanical and electrical repairs on production machinery, including mixers, blenders, mills, injectors, extruders, and conveyors. The ideal candidate will follow a preventive maintenance schedule and have experience replacing motors, sensors, relays, and switches. PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair production machinery. + Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. + Replace motors, sensors, relays, and switches as needed. + Follow preventive maintenance schedules. + Maintain and service mixers, blenders, mills, injectors, extruders, and conveyors. + Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills where applicable. **Essential Skills** + 1-2 years of Maintenance Mechanic experience. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Basic electrical experience up to 480v. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Hydraulic troubleshooting skills. + Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, crouch, and crawl under machines for an 8-hour shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + MIG/TIG Welding and fabrication experience. + ARC/Flash training. + Experience with blenders, mixers, or extrusion processes. + Experience with powder production equipment. **Why Work Here?** Join a motivating workplace offering benefits from day one, including a choice of healthcare plans starting at just $10 per week, free dental and vision coverage, and comprehensive disability insurance. The environment requires mechanically inclined individuals who can learn quickly and work independently. The facility is updated, with some areas being dusty due to product mixing, and offers access to a new building with automated equipment. Employees work a rotating schedule with night and day shifts available, and are provided with PPE equipment and uniforms at no cost. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Saint Charles, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $32.00/hr.
