Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a minimum of two years of experience in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in troubleshooting and repairing overhead cranes, as well as industrial machinery such as steel saws, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mills.
ResponsibilitiesCommit to workplace safety.Repair and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, machinery, apparatus, and fixtures using hand, power, and precision measuring tools.Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.Calculate, layout, balance, and align equipment.Perform rigging activities, safety-related functions, and other miscellaneous maintenance functions.Utilize or fabricate all types of mechanical parts from various metals.Maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the country, state, and federal levels.Support safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes.Complete daily maintenance routines as required.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years maintenance experience in an industrial environment.Experience troubleshooting and repairing overhead cranes.Experience repairing industrial machinery, including steel saws, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mills.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustrial maintenance experience and schooling.Experience with PLC, pneumatics, hydraulics, cranes, and forklifts.Basic troubleshooting skills with advanced processing equipment.Mechanical knowledge and self-starter qualities.Laser alignment and vibration monitoring knowledge.Competence in oxyacetylene torch work and welding.Proficiency in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits.Experience with mechanical systems and welding certification.Ability to speak, write, and comprehend conversational English.High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility is a leader in the fabrication of steel and metal products, operating in a safe and diverse work environment. Located in Pittsburgh, the facility is equipped with lasers, oxy burners, machining centers, welding, and forming tools. We offer 2nd shift and weekend shift opportunities with respective shift differentials. Training is provided on a daylight schedule. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
