Job Description
The maintenance technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of machines, mechanical equipment, and the structural integrity of an establishment. This position requires proficiency in multiple maintenance and craft occupations, aimed at keeping the facility in optimal repair.
ResponsibilitiesRepair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools, and reassemble equipment.Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems remain efficient.Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform maintenance actions following checklists.Utilize tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and testing devices.Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.Record types and costs of maintenance or repairs performed.Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.Essential SkillsCreativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.Team player with attention to detail.Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and repair.Understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management.Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.0-2 years of experience required.Mechanical experience or industrial experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment requires wearing appropriate attire, including a shirt, long pants, steel toe boots, and PPE such as a hard hat, hi-vis vest, ear plugs, and safety glasses, all provided by the company. The schedule offers flexibility, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
