Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment at two facility locations. This role includes building and grounds maintenance, such as snow removal from walkways and stairs. The position requires exceptional mechanical and electrical skills, along with the ability to maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work areas. The successful candidate must be proficient in using hand tools, shop machinery, forklifts, and cranes. **Responsibilities** + Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment. + Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment by taking apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. + Consult blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed. + Handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks. + Repair machines, equipment, or structures as required. + Perform other duties as determined by the Service Manager. **Essential Skills** + Exceptional mechanical and electrical skills. + Ability to accurately diagnose mechanical issues and correct them. + Proficiency in safely using equipment such as welding guns, tools, overhead cranes, and forklifts. + Effective communication skills with team members and managers. + Ability to work with limited supervision in a clean and organized manner. + Willingness to travel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of Industrial and Facilities Maintenance Experience. + Electrical skills, particularly 480 V minimum; PLC knowledge is a major plus. + Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic machinery maintenance. + Facilities electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge. + Associate's degree in a maintenance-related skill is preferred. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr. 3 Medical Plan options HSA Vision Dental Unum Disability, Life and AD&D 401k up to 4% match EAP PTO Schedule - 5 days issued at 90 days employed. 10 Days at 1 year mark.
