**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Responsibilities** + Diagnose, test, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment, such as hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. + Integrate, indicate, or record electrical or electronic instruments. + Work with variable speed AC and DC motor drives and controls. + Use personal computers and computer peripherals for diagnostics. + Test faulty equipment and diagnose malfunctions using electronic units and systems. + Test electronic components and circuits with oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, and voltmeters. + Replace defective components and wiring; adjust mechanical parts using hand-tools and soldering irons. + Align, adjust, and calibrate equipment according to specifications. + Calibrate testing instruments and maintain records of repairs and calibrations. + Use computers to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade process control equipment and PLCs. + Install, repair, maintain, and adjust indicating, recording, and controlling instruments. + Measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, motion, force, and chemical composition. + Instruct maintenance repair crews and enter information into computers. + Operate production equipment for diagnostic and testing purposes. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting + PLC troubleshooting and control + Preventive maintenance + 3-phase electrical systems + Maintenance repair **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Willingness to operate and maintain various operational units + Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime in a heavy industrial environment + Demonstrated ability to work safely as a team member + Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, pumps, piping, power transmission, lubrication, rigging, motors, electronics, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, computers, and PLCs + Pass the Ramsey Validated Super Trade Technician Main test **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive insurance coverage, including medical, dental, and vision, with preventive care covered at no cost.
