**Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Direct Placement Starting at $27/hr!**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, installing, and upgrading machinery and control systems. You will ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures. Your day will involve reading, editing, and creating PLC ladder logic, maintaining production equipment, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade machinery and control systems.
+ Ensure a safe work environment by following established safety procedures.
+ Read, edit, and create PLC ladder logic.
+ Maintain production equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
+ Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Perform MIG and stick welding, burning, and cutting for machinery repairs.
+ Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience or 3 years experience with technical schooling.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with a preference for expertise on the electrical side.
+ Experience with 480V, AC/DC, and 110V, 220V, 480V electrical systems.
+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Ownership of personal tools.
+ Basic welding skills (MIG or stick preferred).
+ PLC troubleshooting experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience repairing cranes.
+ Experience working on conveyors, stamping presses, reduction mills, slitters, and presses.
+ PLC programming experience.

**Work Environment**
This is a direct hire position in a union shop. The second shift runs from 3 pm to 11 pm, with an off-shift differential of $1.50 and a bonus program. The work environment is clean, well-lit, and can be noisy due to stamping presses. It's a heavy industrial steel setting with a strong emphasis on safety and camaraderie among the 120 employees.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $76960.00/yr.
