**Job Summary:** The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding machines and related equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment. This role ensures optimal machine performance, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous production flow. **Key Responsibilities:** + Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on injection molding machines, robotics, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment. + Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues. + Machine Setup Support: Assist with mold changes, machine setups, and calibration to ensure production readiness. + Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage. + Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure equipment is operating within safety standards. + Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to reduce downtime and increase equipment efficiency. + Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing goals. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred. + 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in injection molding or automotive manufacturing. + Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. + Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. + Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S principles is a plus. **Work Environment:** + Fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting. + May require standing, lifting, and working in confined spaces. + Shift work, including nights and weekends, may be required. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
