Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for a dynamic job shop specializing in metal products. This company supports various industries, including semi-trailers, recreational vehicles, utility trucks, and avionic structures. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance, as well as facilities and grounds maintenance. The role involves working on equipment such as laser cutters, break presses, punch machines, robotic welders, benders, stamping presses, and lifts.
ResponsibilitiesPerform reactive and proactive maintenance on a variety of metalworking equipment.Conduct facilities and grounds maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.Troubleshoot and repair laser cutters, break presses, punch machines, robotic welders, benders, stamping presses, and lifts.Essential SkillsElectrical Industrial Maintenance Experience, including 480v, 3-phase, electrical cabinets, and circuits.Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Experience, focusing on hydraulics, pneumatics, and bearings.Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.Possession of basic hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PLC systems.Lift maintenance experience.Strong teamwork skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is based on a 2nd shift schedule, running from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays for voluntary overtime. The work environment is equipped with advanced machinery and tools necessary for metal product manufacturing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, Indiana.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
